St Albans Town Hall is one of the city’s landmarks. Grade II listed and situated alongside the Market Place, it is at the centre of the city. Built in 1831, the venue presents an impressive Palladian façade, painted cream and decorated with a columned first storey balcony. The building has recently been refurbished throughout to a very high standard.


Catering and room dressing

If you are planning to have your wedding or party at the Town Hall in St Albans, just tell us what you want! We have the expertise of a large variety of caterers to call upon so just name your menu! We can also decorate your venue – with flowers or with something more adventurous. We can get our hands on a snow machine…or aerial acrobats…we can even give you a tropical sunset courtesy of our lighting guys. So just let your imagination run wild.

Facilities

Male and female toilets are located at ground level off the Foyer, and on the first floor off the Lobby.

A disabled toilet is available as well as a lift to the first floor.

There is wheelchair accessibility throughout the centre.

Although there isn’t a dedicated Town Hall car park, the building is within a short walk of the Drovers’ Way and Maltings car parks . It is possible to drop and collect guests outside the Town Hall.
